Islahiye Chromite Project

Sontas Mining is advancing exploration and development activities within its chromite properties located in the Islahiye district of Gaziantep, Türkiye. The project is focused on evaluating and developing high-quality chromite mineralization through systematic geological exploration programs. Geological mapping, sampling, and drilling activities are ongoing to better define the extent and potential of chromite mineralization within the project area.

The Islahiye region is situated within one of Türkiye's significant ophiolite belts, an area recognized for its favorable geological setting and chromite potential. Sontas Mining is developing the project in accordance with internationally accepted technical standards and modern exploration methodologies.

Results obtained from ongoing technical studies indicate that the chromite mineralization may possess economic potential. Based on the data collected to date, the Company continues to refine its geological understanding of the project area and evaluate future development and production opportunities.

Driven by growing global demand for chromium and high-grade chromite resources, the Islahiye Chromite Project represents an important component of Sontas Mining's long-term growth strategy. Upon completion of the current technical programs, the Company intends to further assess the project's economic potential and evaluate opportunities for future production expansion under appropriate market and operational conditions.
